Two Months of Life in 223 Words

I guess I should catch you up on all that has happened for us in the last two months since we got married. Well, we spent 8 amazing days in St. Lucia, and are already scheming as to how we are going to get back there soon (watch out soon-to-be newlyweds, we will crash your honeymoon). After returning, we started to get our new apartment in order. That was quickly derailed by the decision to get a puppy. What started off as a harmless PetFinder search quickly turned into a series of phone calls to set up a time to meet a trio of puppies. We met the three puppies, and quickly became enamored with the one girl of the group. Luckily for us, she like us to. And so it came to be that we added Rosie to our family.

As you might have guessed, life with a puppy is very different from life without a puppy. However, Lauren and I couldn't be happier to have this addition to our family. Since the addition of Rosie, Lauren took a part time job at Apple and started grad school. I have done much less. That's it for now.

Now's As Good A Time As Any To Start

Hello all. Lauren and I have talked for awhile now about blogging as we start our lives together. However, with Lauren starting grad school, a new job, us trying to unpack, getting a puppy, writing thank you notes, and getting used to living with each other, this kind of got pushed to the side. But now is as good a time as any to start writing down thoughts and sharing them. Right now, I am lying down, with Lauren tucked in next to me and our puppy at our feet, and me typing away. I bet that this is how it will happen for a little while, at least until school starts for me again. Once that happens, we'll have to figure out a new routine. But for now, this one will do.
